It’s been a few months since I’ve shared a “Five Things I’m Loving Right Now” post, so I figured it was time for an update! If you missed the last one, you can catch up here. It’s been a crazy busy week at work and I’ve felt like I have a million things to do before I head out on vacation on Saturday. My cousin is getting married in Ireland next week so I’m preparing (read: struggling to fit all my clothes in a carry-on) to head out! Tyler and I are leaving for Scotland on Saturday night to spend a few days there before we head over to Ireland for the wedding. I’m so thankful to get to explore new countries and be there as my big cousin marries her soulmate!
Make sure you’re following along to see some amazing pictures of Ireland and Scotland over on my Instagram @findingmyom. Now, onto the five things!
1) Wim Hof Breathing
Some of you may have heard of Wim Hof, internationally known as “The Ice Man” for his world records in withstanding extreme cold. His breathing method focuses on breathing steadily for 30-40 breaths, and after the last exhale, holding your breath for 1-3 minutes. When you feel like you need to breathe, inhale and hold your breath for 15 more seconds, then exhale and repeat for an additional 2-3 cycles. I was able to learn the technique from him at an event held by my gym, Brick Bodies, and was so surprised by how relaxing it is. It helps to reduce stress, increase focus and improve sleep. Read all about it here.
2) Essential Oil Roll-On
I love essential oils and their relaxing properties, so I love that I can take them with me anywhere I go with this roller! I love this chill pill blend. I keep it in my purse and use it when I’m stressed at work, stuck in traffic, or just need a relaxing boost. Such a game changer!
3) Lauren Gleisberg Workouts
I love going to the gym, but I’m not someone who likes to stay there for hours. Enter, LG workouts. Lauren posts a ton of free weight training and cardio workouts that can be completed in about 30 minutes. I love the targeted weight training workouts to build strength. She also provides both at-home and gym options so you can get your sweat on anywhere! Find them here.
4) Homemade Dry Shampoo
As much as I love having clean hair, my hair gets so dry when I wash it every day. Dry shampoo has been a total life saver! It’s also a huge time saver because blow drying my hair takes so. stinking. long. My mom shared a dry shampoo “recipe” with me that smells great, is simple and saves money. All you need is cornstarch and a few shakes of cinnamon if you have blonde hair, or a few shakes of cocoa powder if you have brown hair. Mix it up in tupperware or a mason jar, massage it into your scalp and voila! Plus you’ll smell like a treat.
5) The Goal Digger Podcast

Those are my five things, folks! I’d love to hear your thoughts about them and please let me know if you give any of them a try 🙂
Sending love!
