Happy Wednesday! It’s been a busy start to the week spending my first few days in Maryland, but now I’m back at home and have nothing on the agenda for the rest of the week aside from work and some yoga classes I want to take. I am excited to relax the next few evenings and catch up on some reading. It’s been about a month since my last “Five Things” post and I’m excited to share a few things I’m loving right now with you!
1. All Good Tinted Sunscreen
I discovered this face sunscreen one month ago and I am OBSESSED! I had a hard time finding a sunscreen for my face that has clean ingredients, isn’t super thick or too white, and doesn’t make me break out. This one checks all the boxes and you only need a small amount so it will last you a long time! As a bonus, it’s tinted and provides light coverage.
If you struggle with blisters from running, hiking or walking, you need to try this stuff. Slightly gross, but I was struggling with a blister on the same spot on my foot every time I ran until I found this anti blister balm. When I run now, I swipe a little of the balm on the sensitive areas of my feet and I haven’t had any blisters. Total game changer!
Yet another topic that is not very appealing haha, but sometimes I struggle with acid reflux or indigestion. Let’s face it, we’ve all experienced it after big meals or certain foods that don’t sit well with us. I’ve tried Tums in the past, but they don’t seem to do the trick. These ginger tablets have been a great help and I love the refreshing ginger taste.
4. Libby
I mentioned this app when I wrote this post on 10 books You Should Read, and I still love it! Libby is an app offered through any public libraries that allows you to to download books to read on your phone or listen to audio books for free. I love listening to audio books, and if you do too, you know that they certainly aren’t cheap. Libby has allowed me to listen to so many amazing books, which is one of my favorite things to do when I’m driving, going for a walk, making dinner, etc.
We all have days when it’s hard for us to wind down before bedtime. This 12 minute YouTube yoga video is the perfect way to let go of your day and start to settle down before bed. The video is extremely gentle — you can even do it in your pajamas. Try this video to help you slow down after a busy day and to reconnect to your breath and your body.
Bonus!
One thing that I’m still loving is this healthy strawberry smoothie. A few readers made it and loved it, which makes me so happy! I’m enjoying it for breakfast today 🙂
