I've been reading a lot of posts regarding Mental Health Awareness Month. It's really refreshing for me to see how many more folks are talking about it and working to de-stigmatize mental health. It's got me thinking about where I would be if I let anxiety rule my life. This is not to say I don't still struggle with anxiety because I do, but I put up an active fight against it everyday. Each day I do my best, and with time, it gets easier as I learn how to best cope with my feelings and gain the ... View the Post
Hawaii Highlights and Going Skydiving
Hello from this jet lagged gal! I am home and missing Hawaii terribly already. It was a dream trip -- the beauty of Hawaii is hard to share in words or pictures. It taught me that I need to be proactive in my journey and I need to invest in my own mental well-being and not solely rely on a ... View the Post
Five Things I’m Loving Right Now: April 2019
Hello! Happy Thursday! This week seems to be flying by. It's been a few weeks since I shared about what I'm loving right now, and I wanted to share some things that I love and also things I find really inspiring. The first thing I share is what inspired me to get out of bed this morning and make it to 6 a.m. yoga even though I was so tempted to hit snooze! Five Things I'm Loving Right Now: Can't Hurt Me. This book by David Goggins is so inspiring, I feel like I’m ready to run a marathon ... View the Post
