The Process
- Think about something you have been working hard for and that you really want to invite into your life. Get specific on what you want, whether it’s a job in management where you lead a team of 5 people at a new company in X industry. Or you want to meet a significant other who is compassionate, adventurous and loves hiking as much as you do. Whatever it is, the more specific the better. You can even write it down if that helps you!
- Close your eyes and picture it unfolding — picture the joy you feel when it happens and let it wash over you. Imagine where this will take you — maybe it’s a new town, a new office, a new home, a feeling of love. Imagine the little details. Notice what you are wearing and seeing. Get really clear on how it feels to be in this moment.
- Continue to work toward your goal! The universe is working in alignment with you, but it’s not an easy button, you have to do your part. If your manifesting the job of you dreams, continue to send out job applications and trust that the universe will bring it to you. If it’s a significant other, continue to put yourself out there and be a bit social, unfortunately it’s probably not easy to find love if you don’t leave your couch/Netflix. 🙁
- As you continue to work toward your goal, stay relaxed! The anticipation should be exciting because when your energy is in alignment with the universe and you are sending out positive, inviting vibes to your dreams, they will manifest for you! Stay patient and positive (there’s no Amazon Prime shipping on manifestation). Keep picturing your manifestation, staying clear and open, and the rest will happen for you in its divine timing.
How It’s Worked for Me
- An apartment. In the spring of 2017 I got very clear on the apartment I wanted and where I wanted to be. I pictured the size and upgrades it would have. One day I got an email from Zillow, I opened it and boom, a beautiful one bedroom in the EXACT neighborhood I imagined myself. I was the first one to reach out to view the property and the first one to live there.
- A new job. I got very specific on wanting a remote job with flexibility, a kind team and a supportive manager. This past March, I’ve gotten that and more. My current job has surpassed what I imagined. I will admit that it can be hard to stay positive in the beginning when you feel like you’re sending out a million applications, but the universe knows better and will bring you exactly what you need!
- Yoga class community. After I moved out of Baltimore and stopped teaching at CorePower, I was looking for a new place to teach. I imagined a large class with a consistent group of regulars that I connected with and loved teaching. There was a few studios I didn’t feel were a right fit for me and I was wondering what next steps to take when an acquaintance reached out with some opportunities. This led to steady classes full of students I loved, and was way more fun and rewarding than I imagined.
I swear this stuff works. Stay clear, aligned and positive. Everything that’s meant for you is already on its way to you!
