Hello, it’s been awhile! The world is a bit crazy right now with all things corona virus. I know this can be a stressful time, whether it’s impacted your anxiety, affected your job or cancelled plans. My heart goes out to all those who have been impacted, directly or indirectly.
In no way do I intend to increase worry or scare you with this post, but I want to share some yoga classes and workouts you can follow along at home. I am not here to tell you to stay away from studios or gyms — I’m still going to them and being increasingly mindful about wiping things down. But I know some folks who have increased anxiety or a compromised immune system prefer to workout at home during this time.
In honor of Women’s History Month, I’ve decided to feature all women-led classes in this post. These women are creating amazing, free (!) content that I use frequently. I love these online classes and blogs, and the great variety they have. These strong women inspire me and I am excited to share them.
Yoga Classes and Workouts You Can Do at Home:
1. Peanut Butter Runner
I’ve been following Jen’s blog for almost two years. I’ve taken her yoga classes and workshops before, and she is such a talented teacher. On her blog, she shares workouts such as HIIT, running, weight lifting and more. She has a few yoga classes on her YouTube channel that I love as well.
2. Nourish Move Love
Lindsey has online workouts from barre to weight training to HIIT. She has a great breakdown own her blog that allows you to search for workouts by time/type. Her YouTube workouts are great. I especially love this barre video.
3. Leigha Butler Yoga
Leigha has such a great variety of yoga classes on her YouTube channel. Her flows are unique and her voice is relaxing. I really enjoying learning from her!
4. Tone It Up
Tone It Up’s YouTube channel is a great option for a wide variety of short workouts. Their classes are fun and lighthearted, but also a great workout. They also offer a variety of classes and workouts that are targeted to certain areas of the body.
5. Yoga with Adrienne
Adrienne offer a wide variety of yoga classes that are accessible for all students. Her videos are beginner friendly and often very relaxing, but she does have some more advanced classes as well. I know many beginners who love Adrienne, so she is a great resource if you are looking to begin your yoga practice.
I hope this post is helpful! I truly do love these resources and use them to workout at home or when I’m traveling. If you love at-home workouts but are interested in live classes, I have been an Obé Fitness member since December and love their platform. I wrote more about it here.
Above all else, I hope you stay healthy and have a great week/weekend.
